I did not know Bob, but I met Phyllis about 3 yrs ago at a family reunion.

It is a joy that he lived as he did. Must have been a great person to know and be around.

I enjoyed looking at the photos on line.

Life is good.

I met Bob at Classic Chevrolet when I was buying a vehicle from him. This was when he first knew that he had a problem and just as he was beginning the treatments. Since I am a Cancer survivor and another of his co-worker friends is also, the three of us had lots to talk about and much of what we discussed was the importance of a totally positive attitude. Bob certainly suscribed to that! I kept up with him through the early treatment peroid, during which time I learned of his early apprehension about sharing his condition with his daughter and his devoted love for his dear Karen. I think that our conversations contributed to his realization that no time should be wasted with his planned reunion with his daughter...nothing else was more important at the time.

Bob shared with me his feeling about how he had not always been the quality of person that I was getting to know. I assured him that how you finish is more important than how you began. I found Bob to be a sweet, kind and giving person and one who really wanted to leave a legacy of love and character. I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet Bob Pryor. Don Starnes, Arlington, TX
